Takes less than 2 minutes. Your cape lives on your account permanently.

Visit the official Minecraft redemption page
Go to Minecraft's official code redemption page. You'll need to be signed in to your Microsoft account.

Enter your code and redeem
Paste the cape code from your email into the redemption box and click Redeem. The cape is now permanently linked to your Minecraft account.

Equip your cape in-game
Open Minecraft and equip your new cape from the skin settings.

Java Edition — Cape not showing yet?Common
Java Edition can take 24–72 hours to sync automatically after redeeming a cape.

How to Force Sync Your Cape to Java
- 1Log out of minecraft.net, then log back in.
- 2Open Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
- 3Go to the Dressing Room and equip the redeemed cape.
- 4Fully close the game.
- 5Log out of minecraft.net and log back in.
- 6Go to your Java Edition skin settings.
- 7The cape should now appear — equip it and enjoy your new cape!
